InnovationsCH’s entry titled “Kalinga Health: A Hub-and-Spoke Social Enterprise Model in Engaging the Private Sector for Improved Tuberculosis Care” was selected THIRD PLACE in the search for the Gelia Castillo Award for Research on Social Innovations in Health (GCARSIH).
This nationwide search was organized by the Social Innovations for Health Initiative (SIHI) and the DOST – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD).
As one of the BEST social innovations for health this 2021, the organization was given the chance to pitch its innovation to a national audience during the DOST’s 14th Philippine National Health Research Systems Week.Since the award is research-focused, InnovationsCH is now doing a valuation study (cost-effectiveness analysis, return of investment and a novel social ROI) to support Kalinga Health’s scale-up, which was piloted back in May 2019.
